God has created a universe of fascinating faces, places and things. Humanity’s stewardship of creation (or lack thereof) has added interest. Through my photos and travel I hope to share with others my vision of the many aspects of creation that I have experienced. I hope this will result in some beneficial impact on each of my viewers and (hopefully!) buyers.
I am drawn to a subject or scene by the way light falls on it. I like to photograph patterns and textures, contrasts and contradictions, mostly in color because life is in color.
Sometimes I show a small part of a piece of nature or human made material in a way that renders it almost abstract, inviting the viewer to use imagination and wonder “What is that?!”
Sometimes I photograph a scene intentionally including much detail, hoping to draw the viewer into the scene to make up his or her own story.
Sometimes I photograph a subject because it’s weird or unusual, and sometimes just because it’s beautiful.
